Carolyn Del Morgan Boeh, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away March 25, 2012 at Stormont-Vail Health Care after complications from a stroke & respiratory illness at the age of 82 years.

Carolyn was born on April 12, 1929 on the family farm near Dwight Kansas. She was the daughter of John “Jack” Morgan and Ethel Paulson Morgan. Carolyn graduated with the class of 1947 from Dwight Rural High School. She married Robert Boeh on December 27, 1950; happily married for 61 years.

She was actively involved in the Dwight American Legion Auxiliary for 46 years, the Dwight Chapter of Eastern Star earning her 50 year pin, and the Dwight Sunflowers 4-H club as a community leader for many years. She faithfully attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with her husband and family.

Carolyn enjoyed watching her kids and grandkids sporting activities and flower gardening. She proudly raised the American flag every morning at her home. The center of her life was “family”.

Survivors include her husband Robert, of the home; four children, Michael Boeh (Kellie) of White City; Barbara Becker (Bernie) of Topeka; Patrick Boeh of Ottawa; and Carol Stilwell (Mark) of White City; eight grandchildren, Preston Boeh, Whitney Dauben (Jarett), Tanner Boeh, Kelby Umbehr (Christine), Dillon and Drew Boeh, Mindy and Cade Stilwell; a step-grandson Jack Becker (Lindsey) of Olathe; one great-grandson Maximilian Umbehr; two soon to be born great-granddaughter and great-grandson; and two step great-grandchildren Jackson and Brooklyn Becker; two brothers, Kenneth (Betty) and Keith (Doris) Morgan of Dwight; a sister-in-law Donna Lee Olson of Dwight; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Wayne Olson; and a brother and wife Calvin (Elinor) Morgan, and a sister and husband Bette Anne (Milton) Anderson.

Carolyn will lie in state from 1:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, March 30, 2012, at Penwell-Gabel Flint Hills Chapel, where family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 31, 2012 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Junction City, KS. Burial will follow at Dwight Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to: Shriners Hospital for Children or the Morris County 4-H Foundation and may be sent in care of Penwell-Gabel, PO Box 273, Council Grove, KS 66846.
